Valley Centre,Rooftop Pool, 2bed2bath Apt +Carpark

Positive: Location, carpark and quite a new building. Negative: Check-in procedure. We weren't given the pin no. for the key lock box. (Don't think I've missed any email or text message). Had to call the customer service but it's very noisy in their background I hardly heard what they said. Took a long time to get the key. Would be nice to have some basic tea and coffee, a side table in the lounge.

Solid, clean accom. Convoluted check-in/check-out. Questionable ID requirement Positive: Responsiveness. Negative: Too much to read for check in. $500 deposit (excessive and unnecessary). Mandatory ID provision is not necessary and therefore illegal under the Privacy Act (storage and destroying of my ID is also unclear). Keys were kept away from the property on a busy road which made it awkward to return keys as I was driving (and you need the keys to get out of the garage).

Expensive and Filthy. Positive: The pool Negative: The apartment had not been cleaned, the beds were made other than that, there was hand prints everywhere, food under the sofa, hand prints all over the shower and mirrors in both bedrooms, grease all over the microwave, strange smell. The glass to the views absolutely filthy. I can't imagine how much money they're making off this apartment to not hire a good cleaner without pre check in. Check's being made. Also the area is pretty rough I got heckled twice by drug addicts
