DONT BOOK HERE ITS A SCAM AND THE PLACE IS FILTHY
Positive: Good location.
Negative: Where do I start.
Once we walked into the room we were greeted with a repulsive smell. I scanned the apartment and it was filthy.
It seemed like who ever was staying there got up made the bed rolled the towels and walked out.
There were pubes and hair in the bed, rubbish under the couch, food and residue on the microwave, pubes on the hand towels in the bathroom, dirty washing in the washing machine, food crumbs in the drawers.
No tea towel in the kitchen or body wash in the bathroom.
We contacted Olivia straight away and she asked for photos and if we would like the property cleaned.
We had to leave to get supplies so I said I’ll send photos once I’m back. I sent photos around 5.30pm and with going back and forth till after 9pm saying she will get someone to clean the room. Still no one turned up so we told her it’s late we are ready for bed.
No word from Olivia.
She expected us to sleep in someone else’s filth so we were left with no choice and had to.
We went to shower in the morning to wash off what we had to sleep in…. That’s when we noticed no body wash.
By this point we were angry and decided we wanted to leave.
Olivia offered to do a “complimentary clean” after we had already slept there in someone’s else’s filth. She did not understand the stress that she had caused by messing us around waiting for a cleaner to us to have to sleep there. With multiple phone chats and messages our request kept being denied she asked for more photo proof and by this point we gave up returned our keys and booked else where. Our holiday plans were ruined and Olivia made a mockery out of the situation.
I still asked if she could refund for one night but she would not saying her cleaners did a good job???
Later that evening she said she would take $50 out of her cleaners own pocket ….. I said don’t bother she failed as a host and employer you don’t take money out of someone’s pocket …..
Anyways do your self a favour and DONT BOOK HERE!

Positive: Lovely small apartment for a short stay in the Gold Coast. Ideally located in a nice area. Key pick-up and drop-off is in the convenience store, which is one street behind the accommodation.
Negative: Be aware that the property will charge you a 3% credit card fee, which they will force you to pay via a separate link they will send you, even though payment is taken by Booking.com. They will want you to upload photos of your Driver Licence and/or Passport, then charge you credit card fee of 3% of the total accommodation value paid, which you will not be able to get out of. I queried it with them before paying as Booking.com took my payment, so why were they wanting me to pay a separate charge???? I was forced to pay it otherwise they would cancel my booking. After my stay, I raised a refund claim via Booking.com, which I received back after around 5 weeks. This is an AirBnB property which is also being advertised on Booking.com. I definitely wouldn't want to use Belocals Property Management again, as the amount of information they want before you arrive is ridiculous, plus they want a photo of the keys being returned the convenience store before they release your bond. Nice accommodation but ridiculous property agency!
