Nice place, POOR property management. Positive: - good room size - have enough bathrooms + laundry room Negative: My experience with the property management communication was unnecessarily frustrating. After booking through Booking.com, I was asked to complete a form providing my contact number, credit card details, and other information, which I understood was part of the check-in process. However, after submitting the form, I was asked again via Booking.com messages to provide the same contact number. This duplicate request created unnecessary work and suggested poor coordination in their communication process. The key return process was even more disappointing. I was instructed to send a photo of the returned key, yet there was no option to send images through the Booking.com messaging platform. Fortunately, one member of our group happened to have an Australian phone number, so we were able to send the photo via SMS. It is unreasonable to assume that international travellers will have access to an Australian mobile number for SMS communication. After we sent the photo, we were asked to provide a “clearer” picture, even though the original image was already clear and the key return was perfectly visible. To make matters worse, the same request for the key return photo was also sent again through Booking.com, resulting in duplicate messages across both SMS and Booking.com. We ended up having to manage the same conversation on two different platforms for no apparent reason. The accommodation itself may have been fine, but the communication process was disorganized, repetitive, and far more time-consuming than it needed to be. A more streamlined process and a single communication channel would greatly improve the guest experience.

Positive: Cozy house at Eight Mile Plains was a home away from home. All the conveniences plus a little bit more. Check in was smooth and communication from host was great. Location suited us for visiting family

Don’t go there. Negative: There was a $500 security deposit - outrageous, attached to this was a card processing fee of over $25 - OVER 5%. What a rip off. Then the managers refused to refund my deposit until I sent many, many emails and text messages. There was no reason to dispute my refund, I received it in full. However they stalled to the point I was just about to file with small claims court. I will never, never stay there again.
