Charming & Cozy 3BR Inner-City Haven, 3km to CBD!

Unpleasant, over the top owner and Dirty. Positive: The location was good close to inner city. Negative: The amount of information the owner wants was completely over the top, once booked she wants a completely new portal completed, wants a deposit bond, wants info and phone number of every person staying and for you to open up and read terms and conditions of stay. Once you have done this she then wanted it confirmed again via text message. Actually she texted me 5 times, all over the top. It’s like she has had a bad experience renting the place and is now too rigid. We are in our 50s and got made to feel like kids! I felt like cancelling before we even got there. Booking.com says it’s all confirmed and paid but this owner wants more info, further credit card details. All over the top. When we got there for check in at 3.15pm the cleaners were still there with stuff everywhere. They did not finish until 4.15pm and because they rushed, forgot towels. The place is not very clean, you could feel dirt on the lino floors. I was unsure if sheets had been changed at it felt like dirt in the bottom of bed. We were in Brisbane for less than 40 hours and this experience really stuffed up our weekend. Pictures show how dirty couches and chairs were. The beds are old and uncomfortable and pillows old and flat. This owner expects a lot of you but need to upgrade the furnishings at this place. I would not recommend staying here.

I would not recommend if a big group is staying. It was difficult with only one bathroom and one mirror for 6 people. It Positive: We liked the location of the property, we were given 2 sets of keys, there was parking available Negative: The check-in process was a bit too much. We were asked to confirm arrival and how many quests were staying a few times. Pillows were uncomfortable and it was inconvenient that there was only bathroom for the amount of people that can stay at this accommodation. We had 6 guests. There was not enough mirrors (only the bathroom mirror.

Will hopefully return Positive: Had a great stay in this perfect holiday house. Modern, stylish, well equipped and very clean. Clever sleeping configuration means it could sleep more than the 4 of us adults (good for families). Appreciated the little touches of tea, coffee, milk etc. Very big outside seating area. We really enjoyed the location. Walk to restaurants and takeaways including 10 minutes to a very modern shopping centre. We also took 10 minute taxis to the centre of Brisbane and also walked in taking around 30 minutes. Would stay again. Very good communication from the owners and great recommendation for breakfast (Lift cafe) Negative: It is the top floor of a house so you do need to be respectful of your neighbours downstairs

Cozy family stay Positive: An absolutely beautiful place, so charming, had a lot of carácter, very clean and spacious. Our family was visiting us from overseas, and it was great to be able to accomodate them here. Perfect location, so convenient to shops, restaurants and the main sightseeings of Brisbane. Generally the place was very fresh and clean. Superb. Negative: Check in was a bit of a headache. Process was overly complicated. Also on arrival, the rubbish bins outside were overflowing, it was very stinky, and the rubbish flew around the front yard, not a nice experience getting in.

Fantastic stay that was great for our group of 5 and easily get into the cafes and restaurants. Definitely recommend Positive: Great property for a big group. Beautiful views and in walking distance to lots and bus stops
