Riverview casa/ walk to Mater & children hospital

Positive: Lovely cosy spot, very homely, great for a few nights' stay near South Bank. Traffic can be noisy throughout the night. Negative: Check-in and check-out process was a bit clunky with request for card details, ID, and selfie via a website link prior to check-in. We were, however, able to meet at an office ahead of check-in as that was our preference. We had to provide photos of the keys when checking out, which Booking.com app doesn't allow attaching photos so had to send via SMS and a bit of back and forth until they confirmed they received the photo so these were extra steps that werea bit of a hassle.

Was good on location, wouldn’t stay again. Positive: It was close to the hospital as to why we were there. Negative: Cleaning fee but kitchen utensils & cookware were filthy. Drink splatter on wall. Didn’t look at requests before stay. Hot water was next to non existent which sucked trying to clean kids for bed time.

Nightmare stay Positive: The only good thing about this property is the location Negative: We booked accommodation at this property as my son was booked to have surgery at the children’s hospital but his surgery was canceled 5 days out so our stay at this property kicked off to a bad start when I requested a refund 5 days before check in due to surgery cancellation and refused with no compassion shown at all. So if booking at this property to attend the hospital I would suggest against that. The noise from the sirens and traffic made it absolutely impossible to sleep. The coffee mugs were dirty with coffee stains in every single one. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed in one of the rooms that you could see in the mirror whilst sitting on the bed. The lounge smelt like wet dog. The car park is so small not big enough for a big car and check in at 3pm in peak hour made it a nightmare to get onto the car park. We had two nights without hot water. I contacted the owner via text and did not receive a reply for two hours later at 10pm and they asked me to go check the hot water system which they had no idea where is was “either the garage or on the side of the house”. I also did not receive check in details until 30mins before check in after talking to someone from bookings and then contacting the owner. Would never stay here again and would not recommend anyone to stay here especially accommodation for the children’s hospital.
