Riverview casa/ walk to Mater & children hospital

Nor great, don't recommend Positive: It's a lovely heritage building Negative: The check in process was insanely confusing and there are stairs, which wasn't listed and my mum is recoverfrom chemo and really struggled. The hot water ran out and we couldn't have a shower before the show we were in the city for It was really noisy re traffic, and the blind in one bedroom wouldn't wind down so u are blared with early sun Not neurodivergant friendly at all

Our stay was great and we would return to this accomodation. Positive: My husband suffers from a dust mite allergy so we usually bring a vacuum cleaner with us when we travel. We did not have to use it, the unit was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils making meal preperation easy. The view of the river was lovely. Negative: The location was noisy. Although being across from a hospital and being on a main thoroughfare in a major city this was expected.

Positive: Very close to hospital. Apartment is spacious and overall has a nice feel to it. Host responded relatively quickly to messages. Negative: The booking process outside of the booking.com platform was really clunky and made the process really unpleasant. We requested a high chair which they said was available but was never provided even when we contacted them to let them know it wasn’t in the room. Accommodation is not suitable for small children as there is lots of stairs and no lift. One of the blinds had black mould on it.

Brilliant apartment. Close to the river and public transport. Positive: Close to Brisbane River.

A frustrating pre arrival process but a well located stay Positive: It has a great location close to the Gabba where my son and I were off to the football that night. Also easy walking distance to the station for our train to the airport next day. Negative: The very worst, intrusive and clumsy pre arrival requirements I have ever encountered. I book and stay in hotels world wide and have never encountered such a poor process. I had to provide way too much ID and credit card information online prior to my stay, none of which should have been necessary given en that all these details are held on Bookings.
