Modern 3BR Riverside APT W/Parking near Shops&Park

Horrible stay Positive: The location Negative: The host accused me of not paying when I arrived & was extremely verbally rude on telephone.. Pivoted claim to requiring a security deposit when I showed proof of full payment 2 weeks prior to booking.com. Later admitted that the security deposit requirement was made only a few hours prior to my arrival, when I was already in flight transit. Extremely hostile attitude verbally. Refused to allow me access until I gave my credit card details (incl security code) & selfie + personal ID document. I felt arm-twisted into last minute agreement, otherwise cannot stay & my full prior payment would have been forfeit. Host did not respond to clarify what constituted 'damage' for security deposit purposes. Host did not clarify when I asked why there was an extra AUD400 charge 2 days into my stay (I was still in residence), but instead suggested that it was an accommodation charge, despite previously acknowledging booking.com had confirmed full payment by me. Pushed responsibility on booking.com for all charge enquiries. Booking.com later confirmed the charge was not for this accommodation, which is what I needed to know. I did not feel secure or comfortable during my stay, and did not dare to use the cooking or washing facilities. I felt treated as an unwanted trespasser, rather than a paying guest. I did not dare to write this review until after cancelling my credit card, after my holiday.

Clean, cool, and accessible place! Positive: It was easy to find the building, find the keys, and easy to enter. Good location, clean, and quiet. Love the balcony view. Very happy to have had the A/C. Negative: Not much. Perhaps bigger or less bouncy beds.

Beautiful Apartment, Killer Location, Close to Supermarkets, Amazing places to eat - West End is the place to be in Bri Positive: Property was great. Beds were super comfortable. Location amazing. Close to awesome restaurants and shops for food supplies. Loved the Montague Markets. West End is the place to be in Brisbane. Thank you so much! Negative: Maybe a few more utensils. Like salad bowels, Pasta strainer. Sufficient cutlery for table settings. A nice touch would be to supply tea, coffee and milk to guests. As well as dish washer sheets, washing machine sheets and adequate supplies of toilet paper.
