Beautiful place very comfy and accomodating Positive: Everything Negative: Nothing

Positive: Place was nice, clean and well kept. On noisy road with no double glazing. Negative: Email to sign agreements and fill out information evening before check-in. Sent to 3rd party website for security deposit of $1000 with pics of ID and a million questions, rental agreement you cannot view until after non-refundable payment and 3 emergency contact numbers. Understand they're worried about schoolies trashing the place but incredibly stressful to have to go through that process the night before/day of check-in, especially when dealing with flight delays etc. Pressured to agree to rental agreement because already paid the accommodation in full. Rental agreement contains extra fees if not checked out or lost keys ($500!!)

A diamond in the heart of Brisbane Positive: The house was spacious, well equipped and beautiful. It was private and the two huge bathrooms and giant laundry space came in clutch for getting multiple adults all dolled up to attend a wedding. Negative: There was some concern from our end about the requirement to provide photo ID and card details for a security deposit through an external website. This caused more stress than desired but was resolved without issues and the owners were fantastic communicators. The only part of the property that threw us was the unadorned space in one of the four bedrooms, which got us giggling and pitching ideas at each other.
